About Emoji Merge
Emoji Merge is a game of dropping pieces, making matches, and discovering what comes next. A well-placed drop can set off several merges as the pieces tumble together.
Play alone or take turns with friends. Choose a themed emoji mix or try the random Daily Mix.
Your goal
Keep merging pieces to build your score without spilling any out of the container. The round ends when a piece falls out. Aim to beat your best score for the mix.
Match and merge
When two matching pieces touch, they combine into a new piece. The new piece can merge again if it touches another matching piece, creating a chain reaction.
Each merge earns points; pieces further along the mix earn more. Work through the mix to discover all the emojis.
Controls

Check the preview of the next piece when planning where to leave room.
Mixes and discoveries
A mix sets the sequence of emojis you can make. Every nine unique emoji discoveries earns a choice of another mix. An emoji only counts the first time you discover it, even when it appears in another mix.
The Daily Mix gives every player the same random mix for the day. It is a chance to discover weird or unusual emojis! A Daily emoji counts toward mix unlocks only if you have never discovered that emoji in any mix before.
To play with friends, open the game menu and choose Invite friends. Share the invitation so they can join your board. Players take turns and build one shared score. Wait for your turn before aiming and dropping.
When you head to the homepage or another game, choose Leave group and continue or Return to group. Leaving lets your friends keep playing.
Tips
- Keep matching pieces close enough to meet.
- Avoid burying small pieces where their matches cannot reach them.
- Leave room near the top for pieces to roll and merge.
