About Spider Solitaire
Spider Solitaire is a game of uncovering cards and building complete sequences. Arrange two decks across ten columns, making space to bring cards of the same suit together.
Play with one, two, or four suits on Lolo. Hints and undo are available when you need a hand, and a guided practice deal teaches the one-suit game.
Your goal
Clear all 104 cards by completing eight sequences of the same suit: king, queen, jack, 10–2, ace. Each complete, face-up sequence moves out of the columns automatically. Clear all eight to win.
Build the columns
The ten columns of overlapping cards are called the tableau. Place an uncovered face-up card on one exactly one step higher: a 6 goes on a 7. The suits and colors do not have to match.
You can move a face-up sequence together only when its cards go down one step at a time and all share a suit. To move the 6–5 of hearts above, place its 6 on any 7.
Uncover a face-down card and it flips automatically. Any card, or movable sequence, can fill an empty column.
Deal more cards
The face-down deck in the upper-right is the stock. Tap or click it to deal one face-up card onto every column. These new cards cover the cards already there, so try useful moves before dealing.
Every column must contain a card before you can deal. Fill any empty columns first. There are five rows of ten cards in the stock; once they are dealt, there is no turning it over again.
One, two, or four suits
- One suit: all cards are spades. Every descending sequence can move together.
- Two suits: spades and hearts. You will need to separate mixed sequences to move them together or complete them.
- Four suits: all four suits, with more sorting to do.
All three are standard ways to play; there is no “right” choice. One suit is easiest to learn. Choose more suits when you want a harder puzzle. Every setting still has 104 cards and eight sequences to complete.

Choose a deal
In New game, choose Spider and the number of suits. Deals are random and are not guaranteed to be solvable. Use Undo to try another approach, or start a new deal if you get stuck.
Restart this deal starts the same cards over. For a walkthrough, choose Learn by playing in the help menu during a solo one-suit game.
Tips
- Favor moves that uncover face-down cards.
- Build in the same suit when you can, so the cards stay movable together.
- Use an empty column to separate a mixed sequence, then fill it before dealing.
